Don’t Hit The Highway Without RV Insurance
Summer is here, and you finally have time to pack up the RV, and hit the road with your children. Driving an RV can be just as dangerous, if not more dangerous, than driving a car. You face the same risks, but are driving a much bigger, and much more expensive vehicle. Make sure you don’t forget to purchase an RV insurance policy before taking your summer road trips. Here are some tips for making sure you have smooth ride:
- Inspect the area under the hood. If your RV hasn’t been used since last summer, it is smart to make sure there are no surprises under there before heading out.
- Survey the exterior and interior to make sure the awnings are in tact, vents are clear, and that all of the appliances work. It would be a bummer to pack up all of your tasty food, only to find out the refrigerator is broken.
- Book your RV park reservations before arriving at the RV park. This will ensure you always have a place with hook-ups to sleep each night.
- Pack the necessities, but make sure you do not pack so much extra stuff that you exceed the allowed RV weight limits.
