Community Events: April in Pasadena
It’s a great time to start getting involved in your community, and there are so many fun local events going on this April right here in Pasadena.
On Thursday April 10th at the Armory Center, attend a screening of the documentary Bidder 70. Filmmakers George and Beth Gage follow activist Tim DeChristopher in his bid for parcels of Utah land and his subsequent arrest and imprisonment. The screening begins at 7:00 PM and is free and open to the public.
If you’re looking for an avante garde community event that focuses on the power of the arts, you should attend the Black and White Event for a Purpose on Saturday April 19th. This semi formal night with dress code black and white only supports good, solid community causes with great food, drink, decor, and entertainment.
On Friday April 25th from 10:30 AM though 4:30 PM, the Huntington hosts its 40th annual Spring Plants Sale. From heirloom veggies to luscious flowers to dry-climate succulents, you’re sure to find some gems for your garden.
